Creative Dance
This class is designed for children 3 and 4 years of age. A 45 minute class of ballet and creative movement. This curriculum is an introduction to dance. Royal Academy of Dance Ballet examination syllabus is taught emphasizing posture, poise, balance, rhythm, coordination and mime. It also lets our students to be able to learn to work together in a team or group atmosphere. A routine will be displayed at our annual dance recital.

Dress Code
Tights: Pink Mondor Tights
Body suit: Any color
Footwear: Pink Leather Ballet Slippers
Hair: Classical Bun
Accessories/Optional: May wear dance skirt in class

Mix n’ Match
This class is designed for children 5 and 6 years of age. A 45 minute split class which includes ballet, jazz, and Tap technique. Body awareness, warm-up exercises and stretching are introduced. Focus is on coordination and being able to join steps together with rhythm and skill. A tap routine will be displayed at our annual dance recital.

Dress Code
Tights: Pink, black or beige Mondor Tights
Body suit: Any color
Footwear: Pink Leather Ballet Slippers and Black Paten Tap shoes
Hair: Classical Bun
Accessories/Optional: May wear dance skirt or dance shorts. No pants.

*Ballet [R.A.D.] Royal Academy of Dance syllabus.
This class is for ages 6 and up. Either a 45 or 60 minute class depending on age. Ballet is the foundation of dance and will enrich students taking other disciplines in dance, skating and gymnastics. This is a discipline that will give students body awareness, poise, posture, flexibility, strength and grace.

Dress Code
Tights: Pink Mondor Tights
Body suit: Black
Footwear: Pink Leather or Canvas Ballet Slipper. Split Sole preferred.
Hair: Classical Bun
Accessories/Optional: May wear dance skirt or dance shorts.

Pointe
A unique and specialized technique, pointe work allows female students to explore this extension of ballet. Pointe work demands a specific physical strength and flexibility in the structure of the student's foot, as well as in their overall physical strength, within her ballet technique. Important: (Students will be accepted based on strength and ability and the Directors discretion).

Tights: Pink Mondor Tights
Body suit: Black Tank
Footwear: Bodythings supply pointe shoe fittings. Appointments required.
Hair: Classical Bun
Accessories/Optional: May wear dance skirt or dance shorts.

Jazz
This is a fun high energy class for students 6 years and up. Warm up exercises and stretching involved. Jazz technique, turns and jumps taught across the floor and various stylized combinations. Upbeat music, fast and funky. Lots of fun for the students to express themselves.

Body suit: Black Tank
Footwear: Black Jazz Oxford split sole. No laces preferred.

Lyrical
Lyrical is a very expressive dance form that focuses on core strength and technique. Lyrical is a combination of jazz dance and ballet, where musical lyrics are expressed through movement. Students will study concepts such as musicality, coordination, technique, balance, and expression.

Body suit: Black Tank
Footwear: Beige Jazz Oxford split sole. No laces preferred.
Hair: Classical Bun
Accessories/Optional: May wear dance shorts.

Tap
This class is designed for children ages 5+. A 45 minute fun class exploring rhythms and coordination to different footwork combinations and challenging counts and beats.

Hair: Classical Bun
Accessories/Optional: May wear dance shorts.

Hip-Hop
Hip-hop dance refers to social or choreographed dance styles primarily danced to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. This includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping which were developed in the 1970s. What separates hip-hop dance from other forms of dance is that it is often freestyle (improvisational) in nature.

Tights: Black or Beige Mondor Tight

Footwear: Black Indoor Runners
Hair: Pony Tail
Accessories/Optional: Yoga Pant or Capri Pant

Acro Dance
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. Students will learn to execute a various of tricks, jumps and turns while strengthening and working on flexibility. Proper spotting techniques are used to ensure safety of all students in this challenging dance and acrobatic style.

Tights: No tights
Body suit: Black Tank
Footwear: Bare Feet
Hair: Classical Bun or Ponytail
Accessories/Optional: May wear dance shorts, capris, dance leggings or form fitting yoga pants. Students may wear yoga top in lieu of bodysuit.

The Annual Dance Recital is our year end opportunity for all students to participate. This provides a chance to step outside of the classroom and perform on stage for parents, relatives and friends. This is an opportunity for students to show their accomplishments and achieve their goals of being able to perform in front of others. This enhances self-esteem and confidence in a fun and friendly environment.
